Wendy is out for cosying up

One thing that can be fairly said about Wendy is that they produce yarns and patterns for comfort and practicality! Norse chunky is one of their Winter collection that fulfills the need to beat the British weather, but still has natural style and a huggability that we need .

 Norse Chunky is a wool rich roving style ultra soft yarn with all the charm of Icelandic wools, but is machine washable. The colour range is small but has all the favourites, and the pattern range is mostly simple, traditional but uncomplicated which is what many of us really want when we are out and about. There is a Mans Sweater though and a Icelandic style sweater for the family. 

The most important thing to bear in mind, though is that this yarn can be easily swapped with a large number on the market to produce something that will knock the socks off anything bought from Marks and Spencers

  Twilleys don't produce a vast array of yarns or patterns in a year, but when they do they excel at it. The launch of their Purity yarn has been an amazing success. A natural shaded chunky yarn with 15% Alpaca which comes close to being as wonderful as Rowans Cocoon but at a smaller cost. They are also re-vamping their staple Freedom Wool with two new patterns which a simply outstanding. This cabled Jacket, assuming you have the needles should set you back around the £60 mark to make, and the quality of the yarn is difficult to get in high st garments.
