At last it's here, the next big thing to Spring the new Rowan Magazine which heralds the arrival of new yarns and new shades. Just watch this space for new arrivals coming very soon!
Sirdar has launched some nice new shades of Aran to freshen things up a bit. Adding to their increasing range of Aran shades they have added their now trade mark "cupcake" colours and why not? It is nice to not blendin with the background and the weather now and again. To find out more just click on the picture!
Lets Get Curly! This is our lovely Fern modelling the new Adriafil Voila. Smart, elegant, feminine but warm. Adriafils brand new scarf yarn Voila is easy and quick to make up into a very long spiral scarf. Just take one hank and a crochet hook. You dont need to be able to crochet either! Instructions are available in paper form and on youtube as well
Twilleys don't produce a vast array of yarns or patterns in a year, but when they do they excel at it. The launch of their Purity yarn has been an amazing success. A natural shaded chunky yarn with 15% Alpaca which comes close to being as wonderful as Rowans Cocoon but at a smaller cost. They are also re-vamping their staple Freedom Wool with two new patterns which a simply outstanding. This cabled Jacket, assuming you have the needles should set you back around the £60 mark to make, and the quality of the yarn is difficult to get in high st garments.
Also, for all our creative quilters and fabric customers, we now have a new website where you can buy all you need on the old fabric front. Why not check it out at - www.uptopfabrics.co.uk
