This really is a most sumptuous yarn, a mohair rich aran weight yarn which when you feel it you know you will like. This yarn for its thickness is lightness itself, a lightly spun fibre with the puffy bits of mohair to add breadth but no bulk. It knits up like a summer breeze, warm and light and as the picture shows it retains excellent detail. Knitted loosely for sloppy joe sweaters on big needles it is something else. Knitted double on 12mm the result is like foam on a milkshake, frothy without weight so makes the softest, most delightful scarves.
The only thing it is short of, though is patterns, but this is about to change.....
