Toys are so commercial, gimmicky and cheap. Children learn to appreciate what they have if you teach them and putting time and effort into changes the view on something.
Making your own may seem costly but the satisfaction you get from finishing a teddy or some dolls clothing is amazing and the feedback I get from people knitting a Dolls dress for their daughter / grand daughter shows that children really do appreciate these things still and Argos doesn't always have to be the centre of the shopping universe.
What happened to quality, not quantity anyway?
